SMIT Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting elderly individuals and vulnerable communities through care, shelter, dignity, and empowerment.
SMIT began with one woman, one intention, and a simple belief, that no person should be left without care, dignity, and support. What started with supporting neglected elderly individuals gradually expanded into caring for vulnerable communities.

Over the years, the foundation moved from Boisar to Wada, then Panvel, and today continues its work in Thane.

Our mission is to provide holistic care for the abandoned elderly as our core priority. We complement this by empowering vulnerable individuals through shared living and skill development creating a self-reliant, nature-powered ecosystem where every generation finds dignity and purpose.
